The problem
Thousands of students move to Udaipur and other tier-2 cities every year for college and coaching. Finding a safe, affordable PG still happens through brokers, WhatsApp forwards and word of mouth. Listings are outdated, photos are misleading, brokers charge a month's rent as commission, and parents have no way to check safety before their child moves in.
The solution
Pgiit is a mobile-first platform where students search PGs and hostels by college, budget, food and amenities. Our team verifies each property on the ground, records real photos and house rules, and collects reviews from current residents. Students book a visit or reserve a bed online, and owners get a simple dashboard to fill vacancies without brokers.

Traction so far
Early pilot in Udaipur: first PG and hostel owners onboarded and student enquiries coming in through coaching-institute referrals.
How it makes money
Free for students. PG owners pay a monthly listing subscription and a one-time success fee when a bed is filled through Pgiit.
How the money will be used
Expand verified listings to Jaipur and Kota, build the online booking and rent-payment flow, and grow the on-ground verification team.
